CRAFTY IDEAS – PAPER COLOURS AND GLUE
The activity related craft as the theme wise craft which is related to occasions and festivals is made by the tiny tots with the help of their craft teacher.
Paper mache , hand, feet and body printing, tear and paste, cut and mould, block printing, spray painting, use of recycle paper, beading and stringing , marble painting, etc. are a few techniques taught to children during their craft class
Things created by the little hands are effectively displayed for parents on annual craft exhibition
Stories from ‘panchatantra’, ‘go green’, the blossoms mall’, ‘ the reader’ club’, ‘ the world of wonders’ & ‘love, peace up for annual craft exhibition in the past years.
DANCE & MUSIC – IN STEP WITH STYLE
Our children tap their feet to the beat of the ethnic traditional folk music and prepare dances every year. A glimpse of the same was also seen in the annual dance/theatre festival.
The basic step of kathak are taught to all the children in the beginning few weeks of the session.
ROLE PLAY – PUPPETRY
The drama teacher enacts all the stories with histrionics and modulates her voice to make the role play interesting. Even the children are encouraged to do the same.
The puppet theatre has scores of puppets that depict many characters.
POTS AND PANS – FRIENDLY COOKING ACTIVITIES
We have cooking classes as a part of our regular time table. Recipes which are easy to make without the help of fire and knife are taught to our little ones. • The idea is to develop taste buds and for children to start learning to taste and try new foodstuff.
By the end of every week, each child is equipped with a new recipe for him/her to cook at home.
ENACTMENTS – BRINGING FESTIVALS TO LIFE
Assembly enactments are sequel to the public speaking programme.
The children of K.G. listen to the scripts, learn dialogues analyse the situation and enact their rules on stage in front of the entire school leaving behind the fear factor.
MUSICAL GAMES
Our aim is to provide an atmosphere where they learn and play with music. Rhymes and games are sung with actions bringing out their complete personality without any fear.
